Default Newb needs some advice

Hey guys. I recently installed Kappa 62.11's in the fairing of my 07 EGC. I have a Pioneer head unit and a PN2.350D pushing the speakers. Sounds good, but I scored 2 more kappas for next to nothing and want to get the rear pods to put them in. My question is will my sound quality improve if I run the 4 kappas in series off of my current amp? Or is this a bad idea? I've been looking at the PN4.520D, but Buying a another amp will be a tough sell with the misses. Any input would be appreciated.

Adding speakers will only enhance what you have so far. The tourpack speaker will add fill to your setup but running them in series is a bad idea. Definitely need to budget for a 4ch amp. I'd personally bypass the 4.520 and get the SS pn4.1000. Those Kappas can handle some power and really come alive with this amp.

Thanks for the input! Looks like I'll be shopping for a new 4 ch. Can the kappas handle that much power from the 1000w amp? Also would you guys recommend adding the rear pods or lowers with speaker enclosures?

Between rear pods and lowers, it's lowers all day long IMO. Sound playing behind you at 80mph isn't all that motivated to fight the wind to work it's way to your ear. Lowers just go with the flow!

Yes the Kappas can handle that amp and sound good with it as well. If I had my choice over lowers or tourpack pods I'd choose lowers every time. The tourpack pods are more of a fill sound but the lowers keeps the sound in your face.

You can get it with the "Mad Money" stash in the back of your wallet. . . lol
These amps were $199 a couple years back.

^^^thats a great price on a good amp, I ran that amp for a little and was happy with. You won't be disappointed. And like they said, lowers all day for in your face sound
