Default Steering wheel controls !!help!!
I have a new kenwood headunit. With a axxess aswc-1 control. Problem is I can get it to pick up on my volume down command!! It will pick up all the other controls. 07 street glide and it all worked before the swap. Any ideas???

Steering wheel? That may be your problem.

No harm lol I just went with the product name. As that might be the piece that is failing me. Not sure why the down volume is the only thing not working.

Where did you ground the pink/white wire? Find a better known ground and that should fix your problem.

I grounded it at the back of the cigarette plug.

are you sure you grounded the correct end of it? the end coming from the handlebar controls is the end you need to ground.

Yeah I'm pretty sure. But I'll double check. Funny that all the controls work but volume down.

No I didn't. And I just tried a ground right to the battery and no luck with the volume down.

If your running an amp ground it on the ground post of the amp. I had the same issues with mine till I grounded it at the amp. Problem solved.
