Read through this. I'm betting you'll find that you have something not hooked up correctly.
My guess is that you're using the wrong side of the pink/white wire that you cut. Even without being grounded the volume up will work. Skips n glitches a bit but it works but volume down will not.
waiting on ups to drop off the new piece still. But I know I have the right side grounded. But with this new piece they said not to ground the pink white wire.
Another problem has shown it's ugly face!! Bike controls would not work while bike was running. I proceeded to get a frame ground and run it directly to the aswc. That seemed to work for about 5 starts then back to not working while running. Seems to work about 75% of the time now. I have a new aswc coming to me.
