ive used the $250 tool and the $35 tool and have had to fine tune the crimps from both at times with a good old fashioned set of short needle nose. if they arent perfect, the fit like crap

Buelligan, do those connectors require any special crimp tool? I looked at the Deutsch connectors, but the crimp tool I saw was like $250 dollars. Thanks
Crimp tools sold by home centers are inexpensive. In addition to crimping, you might also solder the wires for a good connection. I do this on my boat because of vibration.
