Sorry Yoop. I didn't read well. I'm running the AD CX 62 in the pods and i'm quite fond of the sound of them. Perhaps it makes sense to have a bit warmer fill coming from the back?
do u think id need the coax? or just a set of mids?
wish i could say great progress was made, thumb control module hooked up to kdmr, distribution blocks wired in an located, and fuze link blocks wired in and located, RCA wires and new speaks comin this week and new bags n lids should be here by the 15th
6900 pro in lids
Mmat 601.4 in fairing
VOB3 horns in guage holes
Any reccomendations for tp pods? 2 more Mmats?
I would not put Mmats back there unless you plan to go a different route than the 6900'snin the lids.
I don't think you will even hear them over the mmats. Those mmats play so loud it's crazy. I'm now considering replacing my AW's in the fairing with a PA speaker so keep up with my 2 sets of Mmats and the 8's.
We did a rushmore trike a few weeks ago and put the MMats up front with horns in the fairing and AD CX62 in the back for some "warmth" off an Arc 600.4. We had to bring down the MMats some to not overpower the AD's. With horns you really couldn't hear the highs too much from the back but when a bass song hit...you could hear the nice low end freqs back there that provided the "rear fill". It's not a bad combo especially how efficient the AD's are and how loud they sound that they do their best to keep up. Just know that you'll want to tame the Mats and even then they'll be the loudest thing on your bike. Another set of MMats would be overkill and the magnet is kinda bag making it a tough fit. Only way I would do that is if you had some serious thump coming from inside your bags.

well. now im thinkin im gonna leave my tp pods alone, get everything assembled and tuned, and see how it sounds. each speak has its own channel, so i can fiddle with what i got and then decide. might wait til after Slyes meet and greet to make any more changes
Yoop, I'm bringing my laptop down to Savannah and we can isolate those CX 62s for you to hear. I agree with Alex and Pete in that there has to be some warmth somewhere and I've been really happy with mine.
