Default bluetooth wiring question

I'm not sure if what I'm trying to do is going to work, but I'm going to try.

I have purchased a packtalk communications set to use on my up and coming sturgis trip. Everyone else in the group already have them.

I want to listen to my radio from the bike to my packtalk. I know i can connect to the packtalk using a bluetooth transmitter. I already have one in mind. (TAOtronics tt-ba09) I've talked to their tech department, and they told me it will work for my application.

I presently have an amp wired to the two speakers in my fairing speakers. The amp uses a remote wire to turn on. I had purchased the panel switches to wire up my garage door opening, and have an unused switch. I was going to wire the remote wire for the amp through that switch. This way I can deactivate my amp when I'm using my Cardo Packtalk. (There is a delay in bluetooth).

Here is my problem. How do I wire my output of my radio to the 3.5mm input on the bluetooth. the output of my radio is + - for left and + - for right which is four wires total. The wiring for a 3.5mm plug is three wire. (left, right and ground). The question is.. can I wire the two negatives from the left and right outputs together.

Should I wire the 3.5mm plug before the amp or after the amp. Will this cause a ground loop problem when I'm not using the Packtalk and using my amp?

Thanks for any help.
