I am looking at adding music to my ride. I have a Sportster 1200C and I am throwing the idea of big speaker pods so when I am riding with someone they can also hear or a Bluetooth headset. Looking at what I have seen available for my bike the best ones with the controls that I personally Like are the HD ones called Boom! Audio Bluetooth Cruiser Amp and Speaker Kit powered by a self-contained 40 watt RMS amplifier. Never having Audio on a motorcycle before I am just trying to figure out what is a good system with Bluetooth and if I should shy away from handlebar mounted speakers and just go for the headset.
Note: I wear a half shell helmet
Note: I do have a detachable windshield which I do know that will help the sound for handlebars but I prefer not using it except once and a blue moon.
I am open to ideas on what to do, and also if there are certain things I should stay away from that other people have done. I am looking for listening to music at 70MPH on interstates if possible but mostly do the 55 mph back-roads.
