Was looking around for blutooth communication systems for the wife and I. We wear half helmets so of course it would have to be the clamp on style. Problem I'm running into is they all seem to have the speakers that require the side pockets. Do they make a system that has a single/double ear bud option? I'm not looking to blutooth the radio or anything like that. Just something we can use so it's not a case of her smacking me on the shoulder and I'm trying to follow her point. Or my smacking her thigh and pointing. Or yelling at each other lol A friend has a nice one that clamps onto his half shell, but his wife had to custom make pockets to put the speakers in. Now if he wears it the stereo sounds really muffled, or it's cranked up way to loud. Searched around quite a bit but keep finding the clamp on/boom mike that has a double speaker system. If anybody knows of one that has the ear buds I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

sounds like you guys would like the Calvary helmet by sena. halfy with everything built in..
Thanks, we'd like to keep our helmets because they are carbon fiber and ultra lightweight. Not to mention expensive. But I'll keep reading about the Sena's and see what they may have that would work. Having the ear buds instead of the big speakers would make life much easier.

I run the same set up and recently got some of the head sets off of eBay from a seller called Harley headset. I did this for same reason as you. Wife and I both wear carbon fiber helmets as well. These come with a neck band so no attachment to the helmet. Haven't had much time to really test them. I did go for a 30 mile solo ride and at around 60 wife called as a test and we could talk pretty decent. I'm hoping when wife goes this week we can give them a good test.
