Good plan mainly bit the amp is dog poo. Ditch that piece of crap and get a better amp to run this. The 6g40 are a stout speaker. That amp won't cut it with good power. Those need a good clean 100 each minimum. Proven the db amp doesn't have it clean. The 6g40 is the 8 ohm version of the pro 6wnd. These are a good speak but need good solid clean power. No sense running a $300 plus set of mids off junk. Bad plan for this. Do what you choose but l can't be quiet on a solid stage powered off junk.

Totally agree with Slye. Need a better amp and good clean power with those speakers bro!

I have a D4 but it doesn't fit. It's about a 1/4" too tall.
I'm open to amp suggestions. I know the Diamond 4v2 fits.

Brother I'm going out of town tomorrow for 10 days. If you can wait a few days, I may have an amp and tweeter amp solution for you. You'll get an R&D price on them to test them out and if you don't like them, send it back!
