the kappas are often a little too deep for the rear pods. I recommend the Xscorpion 6.5 1/2 inch spacers on amazon. I think they run like 7 bucks!

Your Guru needs to get out of the house more often. I'd seek for a second opinion.

Agreed. He should have also suggested a new amp. I don't know of any system that sounds great with the Hog tunes amp. Like bringing a knife to a gunfight . . lol

My bike sounded really good to me and the majority of my neighbors with the HT amp before the Kappa blew. I like it loud so it could be my fault not the speakers. I'm not wanting to do a new amp right now. Any other suggestions on a good 6.5" 2 ohm set?

Hey - If it sounded good to you bro, that's all that counts! The Kappa's are about the best budget 2 OHM speakers out there. Or you might want to follow your gurus suggestion and go with the Hawg Wired. There's a forum member here who's had some experience with the Hawg Wired speakers. CVOJOE I'd check with him.

Spacer is cheap enough. I did a comparison with the kickers I have and the Kappa's. The Kappa's based on the specs seem to be only 1/4 of an inch deeper. I guess that depends when each company measured from. Might get lucky. I have stock pods on my tour pack 2011 limited..We shall see thanks

Help! I was looking at the Kapps on Crutchfield and they say it won't fit my 15 LTD. since everyone seems to be using them I think that's incorrect please tell me I'm correct. Aside from the spacers are there any further modifications that I will need to do to install them?

Thank you in advance.

Have a Great Day.
