We need a sticky with a long, long list of budget speakers that just will not cut it on a bike, like the Polk DBs.
Or a list of speakers/amps for a few basic price ranges$500
$750
$1000
$1500
$2000
Full on rabbit hole, lol

So, in addition to the speaker recommendations listed, will I need speaker adapters (5.25 - 6.5”) for the speakers (2011 Street Glide)? Will the stock grills work?

And is the consensus that the JL amp is the best in this application? And which speakers would be considered ideal if the budget limit was higher? Should I consider 6x9’s in the lowers?

I’m thinking of going with an aftermarket HU and lowers, so it would be x4 speakers…

Thanks!
