I wanted to see if anyone had experience or an opinion about the above amp. I recently bought and had installed the upper end model without satellite capability.
I had my install guy connect my old Hogtunes amp. I'm seeing now how much the Hogtunes amp sucks with this new system.
Gannicus educated me on this forum and gave me two recommendations which I am leaning towards (Cerwin Vega B52 or JL HX280/40).
I am really clueless about stereo equipment and thought it would be wise to go with a marine model since we all get caught in the rain once in awhile.
Here are the specs:
4 channel marine amplifier
4,3 or 2 output channels
4x RCA (4V)
600 max power
Class D digital amp
gold plated connectors
Not really a great big deal about a marine amp. It stays pretty dry under the fairing so not much to worry about there. Stick with the Vega, lots of people really like it and it gives a lot of bang for your buck.
