You can run 2ohm and 4ohm on the same amp. 2ohm on the front channels and 4ohm on the rear channels or vice versa.

Just wanted to add, I have BT 7.1's in the fairing, Polk Audio 6.5 DXI's in the lowers with a pioneer HU and the Soundstream PN4.1000D and love it. Go for it.

How tight is the install in a 16 SGS? I have a PBR300x2 that I am looking to replace. I removed the tray above the head unit and have an Amp mount tray now. Someone else recommended the RF TM400, How does this SS compare to the TM400?

Is it true the equivalent Power Acoustic amps sound better than the Soundstream?
Ive read a few reviews where that is mentioned, anyone have any first hand experience?
I’m also looking for a new amp in the same budget as the Op and have Alloy Art fairing braces.
Does anyone know if the SS PN4.1000D or RZ3000 would fit between the braces?
