Hi guys. I'm new on here. But not new to Harley's, forums etc. also audio... so I have the following:
2011 road glide
Sony head unit
Db Neo 4 amp running 4 channel
Hertz sv165.1 drivers
Hertz st-35 horns
So I'm running all 4 channel to the 4 speakers which equates to 85w per channel. , but it's just not loud enough. It's loud, like a few cars back loud lol...but I know that amp is holding the speakers back. The drivers are rated at 400w max. 100w on the tweeters. (Neo is sufficient for tweets)
My question is a bigger amp. What would you guys recommend? Should I bridge a bigger 4 channel to the drivers and keep the neo for the tweeters? The neo is only pushing 250w bridged as rated by a fellow member on this forum. I feel I could hit the drivers with more. What's the best bang for the buck to run the drivers? Also I intend to add 6x9's in the lids so maybe a big 4 channel to run my drivers and 6x9's. Keep the neo for highs...thanks guys.
