Hey guys, after reading many of the reviews on here I decided to pull the trigger and update my sound system on my 2017 Ultra Limited. My added components are:
After installing the breakout harness, there is no sound! So I unplugged the breakout harness and plugged the factory harness back in the radio and there is sound again. I do have power running to my amp I'm going to call Biketronics on Monday but was just curious if any one else had this issue?
Where are you plugging your line levelers into off the breakout harness? Is it possible that upon hooking up the BO harness, that you left your line levelers plugged into the stock speaker plugs? This would explain why it works when stock connection is plugged in any why it doesn't work when the BO is plugged in. The breakout harness has 4 plugs on it, your line leveler plug will only plug into two of them which replaces the stock plugs that you are using without the breakout harness.

The BOC wires normally connect tot the speaker outputs on the amp. That lets you use the stock connections for the form and rear speakers. For me it was easier to
wire my front speakers directly to the amp instead of hooking up the wires from the BOC to the amp. I just unplugged the BOC plug for the front speakers from the harness and only used the rear wires.
He's not getting signal to his amplifier with a BO harness attached but he is getting signal with it out. His problem isn't on the output side of the amp, it's on the input, i.e. where are the line levelers plugged in.
I tried to do some troubleshooting today and bypassed the amp by plugging the BO Harness inputs and outputs in together, which produced sound. Would this mean that the problem is with the amp?

That is entirely possible. This is probably a stupid question but are you sure the amp is powering up? Are you using a remote turn on wire?
