Had a pair of 62.11 kappa speakers go bad. The frames broke. I am trying to get replacements through Infinity and there are offering me the 62IX as replacements. Any ideas on these?????
They say there are no Kappas in any warehouse and there is no promise date.

 

I'd take them. This is their newest release.

 

It looks like the 62ix they are offering is a kappa, probably replaces the 62.11s. They are still a 2 ohm speaker. From reading up I saw where they can hook up to an optional midrange speaker. Take the offer and let us know how they compare to the 62.11s.

 

They got back to me and confirmed there are the replacement speakers for the Kappa 62.11
Since I had 2 of the 4 speakers go bad, there say to ship them all back and they will replace all of them with the new model.
Just shipped out the old ones and will let you know the outcome...
