Default Multiple amps

Thinking of getting rid of my hertz hdp4 and running 2 amps. Which 2 would be recommended to run a pair of vo6x9’s and mmats 601.4 and ddb3 horns. Wanted 2 amps that I could bridge at 4 ohms to run around 175-200 or so to my vo’s and sane for my mmats and b3’s. Looking for micro style amps to fit in fairing. Thanks

You don't want to run that much power to those Mmats. I'd say use your HDP4 on your fairing and an amp for your 6x9s. But in all reality i think your HDP4 will be enough for the whole setup.

Seems like those vo6x9’s want more than 150 each.

You can run 200 to the vo BUT you will be crossing them higher, and 150 is plenty. Get a eq or dsp and you will bring them to where you want. If after that you still feel you don't have enough, then time to evaluate you end game and plan a redesign of the setup.

Maybe, but you won't be crossing them at 70hz, probably closer to 90-100hz.

At this point what do you have to lose? Like Slye said, try it and if you think you need more go from there.

Im planning to run the same but all off a Jl Xd400/4 i think your hdp4 will be perfect. Unless you really want to drop some money get that new Focal amp.
