flash or not to flash
I have a 2015 ultra with the stock radio flash . I am running a JL mx500/4 with hertz hsk 165 component speakers in the front and ev165 in the rear. my music is downloaded on my phone from amazon prime and when I listen to it I have to use my eq on my phone to adjust the sound if I use my ipod the quality is just not there. my question is should I take it to the dealer to have the radio flashed? I have seen on some other threads that guys are downloading the JL audio fix will this do the same as going to the dealer to flash the radio? also my wife has a 2015 street glide with the hertz component speakers in the front when I installed the Rockford fosgate pbr300/2 it sounded like grap so I had that flashed at the dealer and it sounded better but not as nice as mine so I am in the middle of changing her amp to the mx500/4 would the jl fix help this also? JL also has a TwK graphi equalization program if I use it will it stay in the radio that way I could just set it up for my ipod

Your 15 Ultra should already have the flash you want, 0 amp, 4 speakers. From there a BT355 would be needed to flatten out the stock signal. You can use just a single front BT355 and split that signal to the amp with a y splitter or you can get a rear one also. Twice the money though. The only advantage for using a rear also, is your fade control will still work.
