Looking for Bluetooth, usb thumb drive, cd compatible.
Don't care about phone connectivity other than bt.
Was considering sony mex71bt but preamp volts are low.
Crutchfield suggest Kenwood kmr368 or excelon kdc302.
Really like the looks and feedback on the excelon and 2 yr warranty.
I intend to use a weather cover so how important is marine grade?
Thoughts, opinions...
Thanks
need help making my mind up.
Thanks, therefore......?
What series should I be considering.
My feature wish list is small, just want quality in sound and build.
Like I said prior I liked the sony71 but it only has 2v pre out.

I just installed an MEX - M71BT in my 2010 SG along with a JL MX500/4 and Polk MM6502's. While researching, I noted that the 71BT was rated at 2V vs the old model 70BT at 5. Other than various posts on this forum stating 5V is better, I don't see that the 2V is hurting me. After a quick search on a few car audio forums, I couldn't find any real technical downside to the 2v rating.
There is literally no comparison to how this combination sounds vs my oil setup of stock HU + CV B2 + BT Titan 2's.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Part of my problem is not all the units from sony and Kenwood are available to me from crutchfields Canadian site . Like the Sony 610 as suggested by bates.
One that is and was compared to the old 998 is the Kenwood kdc501.
Anyone familiar with this unit. Price 209.can.
