Default Tweeter exposed?

Hey guys, any thoughts on if this is a bad idea, leaving the tweeter (BT30) exposed? I've been known to get caught in a storm...

Just looking for ways to get the cloth to lay as flat and smooth as possible...

Thanks!

For a few bucks and a little energy u can put treated grill cloth over the face of the fairing grill, plus it really cleans up the look of your fairing.

As outcast stated most DD products are Marine Rated. For a little extra precaution you can treat speaker cloth with some camp dry and install over the grills as T stated.

I run the T2 tweeters in my rear pods and have had no issues with them.being exposed to rain and they are not covered.

Thanks, guys.. After I posted this I actually started playing with the grilles and cloth in the bike. I was surprised at how easy it was to get the cloth to lay flat over the tweeter in the grille.

Just got done treating the cloth and I should get them mounted today and start on the brackets and amp!
