Dynamat install sample... approved by Gannicus and Haze
I thought I would share this with a picture.
I bought dynamat xtreme 4 sqft part number 10425. Used paper to create templates for my 2013 streetglide. Cut the left and right sides first. Remainder on the middle part and filled in some remnants into corners. This will increase the weight of the fairing. Be aware of this. Leaving 2 layers of fiber fill on the speakers per my friends mentioned.
As I got the fairing off, I am going to apply multiple layers of liquid glass... already precleaned. Just fyi.
Sound verdict next week as I need to sun cure the liquid glass first.

Nicely done!!! Where exactly are you applying the liquid glass?
LG 100 on the fairing yes (Liquid Glass).
need to bake in the Sun for 4 hrs each "round" of "waxing" (not a problem in Vegas ).
if I like it I will start doing the rest of the bike.
Been using liquid glass and nothing but liquid glass for about 30 years. I'm sure some of the new stuff is technically "better", but I've never had a reason to try anything else. Easy to apply and talk about a mile deep after a few coats. A buddies dad in high school collected corvettes and had one of each major model year change from inception through mid 90's and he used to buy it by the case. If it was good enough for that I trust my bike to it. For some reason the trick seems to be apply in straight back and forth motion and wipe off in circular motion and you're dead on, gotta bake it to get the full effect.

Does this actually make a difference? Not trying to ask a dumb question, but everyone has a "this is what I did story". Now that you've do it whats the difference.
