Head Unit Change Out ??

Ok after all the reading here I am settled on speakers and amp but what I am wondering I have a 14 Street Glide and I keep reading (or maybe Misreading) that if I want good sound I should change the head unit but I really don't see any options for the Rushmore Bikes for replacing the Double Din Head unit. Or am I just misreading the threads and the head unit on the Rushmore's can produce good sound with out being replaced.

That advice is for the PreRushmore bikes.

the guys who are adding Digital Sound Processors between the Rushmore head units and amplifiers are setting new standards in sound quality for the new bikes
