Default Arc Audio system

Just wondering if anyone here has their system. I am planning on going with them on my 2016 ultra classic. The system is the one with the Moto 600.4 amp and 4 Moto 602 speakers. They now have a complete plug and play. They told me that I would not have to have the HU flashed, just adjust the bass to neg. and treble to the center and cut the speed volume control off. Anyone with any experience with this? They also said to call when I get it installed and they would walk me through the tuning over the phone. They have been super nice, if the product is as good as they are about answering questions, it should be great.

Thanks for any input about the installation as I now plan on doing it myself.

Thanks Allen

Thanks Allen
I like ARC in general and their customer service is pretty solid so that this with a grain of salt.

IMHO, this work around strategy to make their plug and play system sound ok is substandard.

Either get a DSP or a BT355, whatever is within your budget and also in line with your end state build goals. The DSP is most beneficial for complex systems.

The MPAK blows chunks. The 600.4 is a decent amp but it's way underpowered for what the 602's need to perform at their best.

Thanks for the info. I thought I would try it without the DPS and if not happy then add it. But may rethink this.
As far as the amp not being strong enough for 4 speakers, this is the first time I have heard that. I even asked them about how the speakers and amp worked together. Of course they said it was perfect, but I would say the same I guess if I was selling.

Bates is correct. In real world application the Arc Moto 600.4 with 4 Moto 602's is NOT a strong system. Been there.

Is it that 4 Moto 602's are to much for the amp's output? I heard 4 Hertz 165.3's driven by the Moto 600.4 and sounded good and loud to me, but I am high frequency death, I don't hear anything above 2400 Hertz. I guess to many laps in a round track late model dirt race car.
again thanks for the info

The Moto's are low sensitivity speakers I think around 89.5 DB if my memory serves me correctly. Low sensitivity means it takes more power for them to get loud. But the advantage of low sensitivity is more mid bass. So the speakers sound damn good but it takes more than the 150 watts per channel the Moto 600.4 produces. Here's a review where the OP bridged the Arc Moto 600.4 to a set of 602's to get the desired results.
My review is also in this thread.

Good stuff, thanks. It looks like it was a good review on this equipment. So do I need to bridge the system? Or can I?
