Default Focals in Front

Just purchased a pair of Focal 165/KRC's for the front fairing. Question is.. do I need to add the amp at this time, just looking for clairity, not volume... and when I do add, which amp ??

Definitely need an amp. If you're only going to run the one set of Focals. The Cerwin Vega B52 amp is perfect.

if I like the result, will definatly add the rears, so will be a total of 4.. no room for the fender mounts...

Well if you are gonna add rears you will need a 4 channel amp. CV b54 amp then or JL amp. The b-54 might not be enough for 4 ohm speakers but if you go kappas then it is perfect. If you are going to def. run the focals and add something later then you should get a ss pn4.1000 or a focal sport. Either of those amps will have enough for a 4 channel set up.

That is exactly what I have for my front stage, love it. I believe the same gentleman gave me the same sage advice.

I'm not sure the B54 has enough power to get all you can out of those speakers. Time and your ears will tell.

There’s plenty of amp there for the focals.

Not if adds 4 speakers. I agree it is plenty for the focals up front but if he adds 4 speakers, I don't think it will be enough. Isn't the b 54 running 70-80 watts x4 at 4 ohms?
