If I need one and use the PAC TR4 would I use a speaker wire for the signal? If so, which one? Would that allow me to turn off the amp by turning off the speaker switch (assuming my bike has one). I haven't seen my bike since Oct but my old UC has one.
I have a Focal Sport amp with AW6.5/BT30 and the BT LL with breakout harness. Does the BT breakout harness take care of the amp power on switch or do I need to connect it?

So Tailwind, do the Rushmore head units have an actual turn on lead that goes live and dead when you turn it on and off or does that lead just peel out a constant 12v?

I think I'm picking up on what ur asking but I'm gonna say the HU has nothing to do with the remote turn on. Ur tapping into an accessory that activates the amp to turn on. The one used for this specific harness is used to turn on the hidden antenna and is just damn convenient.
OK T if it turns on the hidden antenna how much voltage does it use to do it? I think the PAC TR4 only requires 800 mV to trigger if I remember correctly.
I don't know squat about Rushmores (my muscle memory is still programmed for Shovelhead controls) but I wouldn't mind learning just so when I go to town and wander through the stealership like a calf staring at a new gate I can tell when they are blowin smoke up my backside.
