Default Voice activated 2 way helmet intercom.

im looking for something for my wife and everything I find seems way overkill for my needs.

I need a simple 2-way intercom unit that syncs or helmets together and allows us to communicate freely without having to push any buttons. I have a sterio in my fairing so music will be playing through that. The headset system would just be for her and i to communicate and I don't want to have to search for buttons while riding.

thanks for any recommendations!

We use the Kie Blinc. It is a bluetooth, voice activated and inexpensive. Sounds as good as my Sena. If you choose an option like this, use the velcro mount, not the bracket.

Bluetooth means one connection at a time. Meaning if you are riding with several other bikes with Kie you have to push and let the bluetooth acquire a new set. But for two, it is perfect for us. Syncs with phone for music (or calls) as well. It works well for us up to 50-55 when helmet wind noise makes it hard to understand conversation, but that may be unique to our bike and helmets.

My sena works great, is better built but way more expensive. We've used the Kie Blincs for 4 years. Just bought a spare. Unit lasts about 8 hours of use, charges in 2-3 hours. They are Italian and waterproof, very light weight, but work surprisingly well. They were $ 49 at Leatherup when first introduced, $ 79 was the cost on the spare we just bought.

we used the SENA SMH10R, they worked very very well, small and very lightweight. we would still be using them if not for the new WHIM and 20s's
