Question setting gains

I read the tutorial on setting gains & watched the you tube video. I am still a little confused. My setup is jl audio xd400/4 amp with DDW 6.5 & AT28 tweeters. It tells me to download the test tone & turn the multi meter to my settings. My question is what test tone do i download? I have 2 speaker setup & setting it to 28.3 volts.

I downloaded a 1khz test tone to a blank usb stick. This way, it's the only recording on it and it plays over and over, to give you time to adjust the gains.

There is a link to test tones in the Gains stickie, you want 1kHz at -5 db.
