They’re all the same amp owned by the same parent company. I think they’re great with coaxial but not all that great with pro audio speakers

Curious why you would say they are good with lower efficiency coax Speaks vs higher efficiency PAs requiring far less juice. Based on power alone the PAs would be an easy play for these amps. Totally get that they are all budget amps and the PA world is a bit more cutting edge SQ this assuming thats the general assumption?

SQ.

A coax speakers, specifically budget friendly ones mask the sound quality shortcoming of these amps because they don’t get as loud and the “warmth” really covers it up. In contrast a PA speaker that plays 2-3 times as loud literally “amplifies” the lack of SQ and that warmth quickly turns into muddy-ness.

Shix, my bad brother!!!! Lol!!

This forum is all about helping others save some coin and also avoid **** pain while they seek out their individual sled audio unicorn. Having differing opinions, riding styles and strategies is essential for avoiding a perpetual sheep festival.
So don't hold ur breath on the buddy buddy thing as I won't be buying him a beer in this lifetime, but every once in a while I will shock u all and try and seek a professional dialogue when there is an opportunity to expand on a topic that will benefit others.

Now back to our regularly scheduled drama!!!

Just sayin!!!

So what I gather from all this is these are good amps, but if I want to put a set of PRV 8's or 10's in my bags i would need to spend an extra $300 plus dollars on a SD, JL, or Focal amp or such. Soooo, in order to put extra thump in my bags, should I try some db wdx8motos,, or pioneer ts-m800pros, the stress all this unicorn chasing causes, especially trying to get the most for your money.

No don't be so extreme in your thinking and associate dollars and values to what you can pair together. I''ve installed PRV 10's that cost less that 70 bucks that flat out thump, I also would never use the Focal amp to push 10's. It's the sound that those amps put out when looking for bass just don't sound all that great on a pro audio speaker. Those amps pair well with coaxial type speakers. If it were me, I'd rather put a few bucks aside each month until I could grab a better quality amp and get the best sound out of your bike.
