This is key when running PA's. As Yoop said the PRV's will handle quite a bit more but they will completely drown out the other elements of your system. Balance throughout the system is what delivers the overall quality of sound and the hard part for folks to understand is that quality doesn't always mean loud as hell.

From the bleachers it also looks like balanced systems with quality outcomes have tweets / horns on their own channel to get the balance. Is that an accurate view?
if so, I have the focal amp, 2 PA in fairing shairing their channel with the tweets and 2 PA in the lowers with their own channels. Would it be better to match and parallel the speaks to give the tweets their own channel? (No dsp in the mix) or move to another amp?

thats a damn fine amp, id add an inexpensive micro amp to run horns on their own channe
