I knew that was coming ;^)...

I'm traveling for work this week... I'll take some pictures when I get home... I also have a template I made out of mdf if anyone else want's to go this route. I'd be happy to pass it around.

I like the idea! I too would like to see a pic for a better idea of what you did. If I don't get any bites on selling or trading my D4.90 I will go this route.

like these but you're sitting them 2 inches above the exhaust curve?

That's what they look like. Mine are made out of 1/2 Black ABS. Also, I run a 2-into-1 exhaust and the amps are on the non-exhaust side. Doubt it matters in most of the country but here in Texas it probably makes a difference.

I recently put in a double din and 4 6.5s in my fairing and wanted to avoid adding amps to bags. SO I made two of these and installed them to Posts on Radio cady

Who makes the double din inner fairing that you are swapping to? Is it for a 09-13 Street Glide?
