There are some mini auto amps on the market that some of us have been using successfully, including the Arc/Elf minis that have already been mentioned. I've been using an Elf E2125X (2-ch.) amp for about seven months, so far with excellent results. It is nearly identical to the Arc Mini 125.2, as seen in this article, and like the Arc amp it produces 125w/ch. @ 2Ω, 75w/ch. @ 4Ω.
Mine was a refurb purchased on Ebay for $135, which apparently are no longer available, but new ones are there for $199. Here's a thread I started. Photos of the setup before and after adding an extra fairing bracket for the speakers is here.
I have been running a wetsounds 250 watt amp from throttleupindustries.com as well for two years the first year I was pushing 2 6.5inch rockford fosgates and the year after I added 2 more 6.5s and havnt had an issue once! Works great. I would not be scared to buy another one in a heartbeat
1 Post, welcome to the forum from Florida. I have a Hawgwired that I've had since 07, works fine, but now I want 4 channels. I put a Rockford Fosgate 4 channel in my wifes bikes, it's been there 6 months with no problems, I may go that route, or an ARC.
