Hoyt, why not try a set of mmats in the lids. They're cheap enough, water resistant and dont need much power. If you dont like them, you can sell them in a heartbeat here. I think they're still a good option in the lids.

I have speaker cloth sprayed with camp dry on mine. No problems so far

I have a buddy that's been running them for over a year and has had no issues with them.

Just getting ideas for the future. I'm not really dissatisfied with the Polks I have now, but you never know what the latest and greatest will be. Depending on my wiring strategy in the near future I might be looking to try something else.
