Default DSPs Arc PSM vs. RF DSR-1

Thinking of adding a DSP to my system... Buddy got the RF DSR-1 and I like his results and the app that runs on his phone. I'm running an Arc Moto 600.4 so I imagine that there PSM is designed for easy install. Anybody have experience with both? Leaning towards RF as it is significantly lower in cost and has the app rather than requiring a laptop to tweak...

One of the reasons I like the psm is that you can set different presets and make it automatically switch when the bike is started. This works well on the Rushmore where the hu changes tunes. Plus my riding tune has more highs due to the wind.
I also like the size of the psm.

I will just say don't let the app vs usb cable be the deciding factor. think it should be 6 vs 8 and size. I was so happy when put the psm in thinking great no taking fairing off well that is not true in my case always trying different speaker location ,wiring strategy, amps.Have the dsr1 on shelf will try when i get time with it you can use phone to switch between presets.

I really like the PSM, many ways to tune your sounds, small size, and their customer service is great. Only small downfall is having to plug laptop in to tune.

We've used them both with success. I could use either and get both bikes to sound the same.

Sometimes the convenience of a big laptop screen and mouse pad is easier than thumbs on your phone, but the ability to use BT on the DSR is a plus.

As stated by haze, a laptop works easily with my fat thumbs and oldass eyes. You are limited to 6 channels on the Arc, where the RF gets you 8 channels.

For me, when I did the Arc I thought I'd never need 8 channels. I was obviously fooling myself.

There's ways to run the PSM if you have more than 6 channels.
