is this bike a sales pitch deal where you demo your skills/wares?

most of your potential customers are going to be HD guys, so you should be demo'ing stuff on a HD.

and, you just can't get ppl to fathom that a victory is a better bike than an HD, and that's not your purpose in life. you are there to sell Audio, not argue over victory-vs-HD.

I would sell the existing bike, and get 2017 or 2018 off CL and start over. lots of buyers remorse in the HD market right now....

Just a thought, but how about doing an Indian? I know this bike is done, but the Indian has a mono shock rear also (which I'm hoping Harley does soon). At least you would know parts will be available for a long time to come.

It's not really about the business at all. I REALLY enjoyed how the bike rode, more so than any HD I've ever ridden. At the shop we have a shop audio bike, my partners HD, and our employees HD. While I've done my own math on re-sale value, parts, HD market, etc. at some point I try to toss that aside and just ask myself what did I enjoy riding more. The other part is I'm up for a change, something new to me. We'll see, like you said....LOTS of great deals out there.

That victory is sweet. Keep the Harley. Buy the victory. I know guys with 3 or 4 different brand bikes. If you’re in Germany on the Auto Baun. You got to have the BMW. Go for it bro!!

hahahaha.....well there's a 2010 with Stage Four and CVO wheels I have lined up as a possible "rider" bike. Just gotta see how it all shakes out, but man at some point it's many toys and not enough time to enjoy them.

Guess it depends on your type of riding as well. I do 1k plus rides on a somewhat regular basis. I have had to stop at dealerships along the rides, from time to time, with issues on the bike. It was nice to know that you could find a dealer within a close distance to assist with the issue.

I took a big Indian out a few weeks ago, rode like a champ, so much smoother than my HD but, the dealerships are scattered around and sometimes off the beaten path and hard to find. Im sure that would be an issue with a Victory as well.

Just something to think about.

Let me know which one and I'll see what I can do price wise. His wheels are the best in the biz man.
