The Rockford or Kenwood amp comes with the kit bro and I don't know how much power those roll bar speakers can take. All I know is when the ole boy at work fired up his tunes, His is bike sounded damn good!! and he had the PBR X4. Shocked the hell out of me. I hate that amp!!! lol!
Gannicus been messing with that Hennessy or something got his buzz on a lil bit...if moneys not to tight theres more options now...you can run stock lowers with tons of options for 6.5 or you can run something like the dirtybird lowers that can house a pro audio 8 AND horn for good sound up front...runs a set of SBD lids in back with another 8 and horn...put a solid amp like the jl audio 600/6...runs horns on 2 channels...1 set of 8s on 2 channels and the other set of 8s on 2 channels...should have plenty of power...good separation and adjustability
LOL!! Did you guys not read the part where he said he changed his mind and wanted to go with cans on the roll bars? Not too many options there. I was giving him an option that I’ve actually heard for his cans. Now for the rest of the system the sky is the limit!!
or he could be tired of me texting him 700 times a day to answer something I should already know...WORD OF ADVICE GANN...If u start an advice line for $1.00 per text I'd still do it...only difference is youd be mad paidddd
So I'm starting a new project. I have a road king that I put a fairing on. But now I'm thinking about taking the fairing off and going with cans on the crash bar and speakers in the bags. I know that guys have used headlight buckets for speaker housings on the crash bar. What else have any of you guys used?
An option that may work is look up or google wakeboard tower speaker cans. Lots of choices.
Gann your a bit snippy lately AND you gave props to a rockford amp...not sure if doc gave u new meds or your just hungry but were all concerned 🤣
Fair enough. OMG Im turning into T!! LOL! I might just need a Snickers!! On a serious note uplandpinter is my guy and I would never steer him wrong. The PBR is a stretch but maybe the speakers are decent. If you read those reviews from steelhorse audio. Theres not a bad one in the bunch. Ill tell you what Brad. Bring the Roadking to the Next Midwest meet and greet and well install a killer system in that thing. Charge all the speakers and amps to Ts credit card!! Me and the rest of the crew will do the install for free or we can just ship the thing to Alex in Miami and call it good. LOL!!
