I sold off my SBD lids with JLM770's so I'm looking for 6 X 9 suggestions. Like to have a little more punch than I got out of the M770's
Running
JL ZR 650 CSI's up front
BT 4180 Amp
Stock HU flashed 4 speakers no amp
BT Line Levelers
BT Pod Eliminators
Thought of doing the RF kit but don't feel that good about the 6 X 9s in the kit.
Considering Polks, DD VOs, Arc's, maybe the Pioneers??? Like the idea of marine grade...
Looking for suggestions from those with more experience than myself... Not current looking to replace amp or front stage and not looking to build beyond the 4 speaker set up..
Guru guidance, please

Get the kit and try those tms 69's. You will be VERY surprised about how good they sound. If you don't like them, that kit will allow you to try different other speaker except the vo's will need modification to the basket to fit the lid kit.
after my recent testing i would have to say the ARC692 or the hertz MPX690 Mille Pro
they were my 2 best picks in the popular bunch that i tested out, powered by ARC moto600.4 and dsp tuned.

Prv 6x9's sounded like crap on bike. I've just picked up a set of vo's for the lower bag. I have a set of Polk mm692's lids. I need to find a 2channel amp with at least 300 rms into 2 ohms.

PRV in general will be a thing of the past in the real near future.

They will always have a market presence. Yes folks are finding new speakers every day but none of it is really all that new. It's three things PRV has -- reliability, availability and price point. The quality speaker you get, available on Amazon, and at the price point they win hands down. The 6MR500 is tops of it's class at 99.00 and for 10's a 10W650 is 70 bucks and they just released a 4ohm version. Even more so they have an evolving product line with releases planned 2 years out in cycles. Lots of shops continue to use them for this very reason, also their distribution mechanism for shops will always provide them a place on the market.
