Is there any adjustability with them?

 

 

As Haze mentioned, GZ is extremely reputable in every core market in which they serve. Just not a big presence in North America.
The absolute biggest selling point for me is the size to power ratio. I am not the guy that puts amps in bags and will never do so on my daily rider. 250x2 and the ability to put it on the clutch side of the BT bracket mounted vertically is damn near priceless for me. Putting another one in the CB cubby is also a massive bonus. Regarding SQ, nothing beats JL but JL requires space I'm not willing to give up, however this is a very solid SQ amp in that higher end tier.
GZ can move a ton of these amps within the sled audio industry based on size, Watts and high tier / respectable SQ. The only catch will be pricing. The MSRP that has been floated is damn high and I hope that the dealers are aggressive enough to get the pricing belly button to the point where price matches consumer value. Not going to tell you the max I would pay for this amp just yet as I am optimistic that GZ will quickly get to know the sled audio community and adjust accordingly.

Very nice damn amp!!!!! And extremely pleased that GZ has responded to the potential demand for this amp. Pricing will be the only factor in making this amp a massive success in the sled audio sector.

So, is this micro amp worth double the price of a nvx micro amp?

If ur just running horns there is imho absolutely no need for the watts that either of these 2 provide. SD250? Even the Focal Impulse fits damn nice in the CB cubby if u wanted some quality Watts for horns.

But side by side the GZ is a far superior amp than the NVX MVP4A. .

Regardless, double the cost issue will be a brick wall for GZ USA.

For horns I think you'll find smaller more budget friendly options. However, when asking if the GZ Micro is worth twice the cost of a NVX that's kinda like asking if the JL 400/4 is worth twice the cost of a Soundstream PN4.1000D. Yes it is! All day. Not just in sound quality but also build quality, warranty and customer support, etc. I tell folks you have a very nice bike, that was not cheap, buy the BEST you can afford and NOT the best deal or the cheapest route because in the end many folks just end up swapping stuff out and it get's more expensive. Cry once, and be done!

 

Lord knows I have never worried about cost as my past history with trying speakers/amps can attest too. I am gathering my winter project and going all PA setup. My currant thoughts are prv's in the fairing, dd vo's in the lids and 4 horns in each of the corners. TM 400 or stinger up front and nvx or gz micro in a pocket. Got a damn good price on a nvx for the horns but now thinking that the GZ micro may be the ticket. Thanks Alex and Todd for your thoughts. Keith wondered how long it would take me to come to my senses too as he has given me a set of vo's and prv's in the past to try. lol I will try this nvx but probably get the gz micro before its all said and done as it can provide more to the vo's if bridged.
