I was tired of sled audio tuning and have a pile of stuff laying around so i installed Hertz 165.3 in doors and Bt 6.5 speakers in back door of 2001 chevy 1500, That had kicker speakers and massive audio amps and mtx subs installed when new years ago at audio shop
The Bt 6.5 where just never what i wanted on sled but in a cage was very surprised how clean and amount of lows they have crossed at 80 and the hertz are just plain outstanding mid freq and highs are so clear.all powered with 50 watts less than when in bike. also used a Alpine 149bt that had in bike couple years ago that could never get to sound worth a crap. Just saying never did installs before bike so had no idea how easy it is to be happy with audio in cage .
maybe car components don't work well in sled but seams goes the other way around nicely. If sled amps and speakers where not so expensive i would have stepped it up with more leftover parts but afraid i may still find use for them. Was fun way to spend couple days .
