the y cable adapter will get you 4 channels of output from the Head unit. no fade control, some of the better amp units can take 2 channels of input and sum it to 4 channels of output, but again no fade control.

So a Y adapter to each RCA off the HU will then allow the use of a 4-Channel amp. I’m not to worried about fade as it’s on a motorcycle. Going this route which amp would be recommended?

What speakers are you using? What bike?

Will the above that was mentioned and I replied back with work?
Fairing kappas will be good. 6x8 kappas are probably not good.
Did you have the 6x8s on the shelf or something? Like T said make the fairing the best you can FIRST! If you don't want to buy lids and actual 6x9s right away just put it off a while. Get that B54 and run the kappas in the fairing off 2 channels(not bridged) until you can get the lids and 6x9s.

I don’t want lids period. And I have always dealt with Infinty or JL, where I picked these up from they mentioned if I didn’t end up liking the quality I could return them and go another route. The same route I’m going with meetup though he’s done previously just with a kicker amp and he mentioned it was spot on.
Im talking more in the lines of running a y off of the outputs on the HU sincerely it only has 2 channel output, to make it a 4 channel per day and run all 4 speaker off a 4 channel amp instead of running the speakers parallel or in series. The speakers themselves are 2ohm.

No magic to y splitters man they turn two outputs into 4 problem solved. If you however hook up 4 kappas to 2 channels of the B54 that amp will let its magic smoke out! One speaker per channel only!
Ditch the 6x8 speaker inside the bag theory as your second set of speakers!!!!
As a rider, get the fairing dialed in then lowers then move to the rear surface area then inside the bags.
As mentioned above, Y RCAs solves ur 2 channel HU output issue.
