Post System Setup

New member here, haven't dealt much with Audio on a bike but wanted to get some feedback on the setup I am going for. I pulled my last setup and going back with as follows:

Aquatic AV 5BT
Infinity Kappa (Fairing)
Infinity Kappa 6x8 (Saddlebags)
Cerwin-Vega AMP
16 ga. speaker wire
8 ga. power
In-line fuse (amp fuse?)
Delphi connections
8 ga. ground
10 ga. remote

The setup on the saddlebags are not the lids. I have came across a few different options (seen and heard personally) and working on glassing my own that will be installed on the inner of the bag facing towards the wheel. The kappas in the fairing provide enough sound but looking to provide a low/mid bass in the rear with clear vocals still present.

Are there any concerns I need to address within this setup or suggestions?

If your using the Cerwin B54 amp, you're not going to have enough power to all 4 speakers. You are also not going to get "clear vocals present" from putting 6x8's in the bags facing the wheel. You might get some thump, but you would have to have the right speaker, amp and cutout to get what your looking for.

I think the B54 will power the Kappas as they are close to 2ohm. I'm not convinced that you will like the 6x8 facing the wheel.

The fairing speakers will run off the unit itself since 2 ohm based they will receive 40watts each which is more than capable to push as the factory unit worked well once adjusted with the America’s speakers (clarity and loud). The amp will be solely for the rear speakers.

What speakers are recommended for the bags? Vocals will solely come from the front, if I end up not like the sound I’ll add an amp there.

You're definitely not going to be happy with that you will let the smoke out.

Until ur ready to get the fairing is the absolute best spot possible as it truly is the front stage for a rider, then I would not spend a dime elsewhere. 40 watts for the fairing just ain't gonna cut it.

Get ur fairing plan kicking **** then supplement / compliment accordingly at other locations.

2 cents.

Let m ask then? The Aquatic head-unit has a 2 channel 2 volt preamp output; how would I go about powering hooking up a 4 channel amp to power everything instead of just the rear?

Most amps will work with just 2 inputs. If not RCA y splitters will get the job done.
