What If the Fear and Money didn’t matter?
That being said if I could play with someone else's money I would try to do as good as I could without sacrificing bag space. On my 2010 UC I might try:
Stock HK head unit with preamps added by IC (I want to keep the CB, weather band, Intercom, and AVC).
Maybe send the HK back to Iron Cross to have the white LEDs installed for night riding
Up front in the fairing whatever the best marine rated 6.5 coaxials are.
In the lowers whatever the best marine rated mid bass speakers would be (MMats or PRV) in stock or Fairing Factory lowers in the stock vented parts.
Maybe an ARC Moto 600.4 powering the four in front.
ARC PSM
Ipod module so I could leave one of my spare Ipods plugged in all the time
Level controls under the switch panel for each front channel
Whatever the best marine rated 6x9s are in the lids
Good marine rated 6.5s in the rear pods
Maybe keep the RF TM400x4ad in the clutch bag just for the 6x9s
Maybe add a JL or MB Quart waterproof amp under the tour pak for the rear pod speakers
Keep my 70s style steel whip antennas for good CB and FM reception
Pay someone smarter than I am to tune the ARC PSM
Put one of those vibrating pads under the rear seat for my wife but don't tell her it's there

All that is doable. Make it happen. but some amps may interfere with your FM.

The main reason I would like to try the ARC amp in the fairing is I have heard it doesn't interfere with FM reception like the SS PN4.1000d I have now does. I regained some of the reception by swapping to the older steel whip antennas though. I'd hate to spend $600 just to find out it doesn't improve reception. There are some good FM stations that I like to listen to but can only pick up when i get near town. The thing is I have never been disappointed by the performance of the PN4.1000d. That thing puts out all the sound I have ever asked it to and never once distorted. It also runs very cool without the need for a fan. I am using a very clean low level input though so that may make a difference, but I like the idea of not having to worry about a fan failing on me.
Maybe I'll start another thread asking if anyone has tried both amps and noticed a difference.

Remember those Beyma 8's are 8 ohm may need more power?!

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Another option would be have top guy come to my place and I lay out all the gear I have and watch him do magic and learn how much I have left behind from wrong combo or wireing choice or placement.
Don't think it's money that is holding most back ,
It's hard to be part time inthuiist and want mind blowing pro system .
