Amp Advice
Need some advice on a amp. Setup is 2015 Streetglide 6.5 Boom with DD Aw 6.5 & T28 tweets in fairing Arc moto 6x9 in the lids. What would be the best amp for this setup?
T's right. Definitely gonna need a lot of power with those speakers! Great speakers but power hungry. The AW's need about 150 watts and the Moto 6x9's need about 200 watts to sound good. You almost need a little JL 280/4 bridged to to power the AW's and a JL 400/4 bridged to power the Moto 6x9's. Or you could just go with T's recommendation and get the focal. Personally I'm a JL fan.
I don’t. I don’t have JL amps on my bike....but did years back when most said they were too underpowered for bikes. So I’m just curious for those reading that may not know the inside banter if folks think that amplified power is all the same?

OP, don't go down this rabbit hole brother. It will take u twice as many JL amp channels to get u the watts u need for the speakers u r using. ((Basically 2 JL amps).
I'm a huge fan of most JL stuff but in this case the efficiency & quality of the JL amps are not gonna make up the delta of 100 watts between the Focal Sport and a JL600/6 or JL400/4 JL......
If u don't mind getting 2 JL amps and bridging them, that is some damn good quality wattage.
