Post up those Motos for sale and u whole world changes. Those are awesome speakers but they need a ton of power so the guy with lots of amp and only 4 speakers holes can enjoy the hell out of them. For the guy wanting 10 speakers he has to get more efficient speakers or get a short stack of amps.

With some efficient 6.5s in the front four holes I would imagine that Arc 600.4 would push them pretty good since it is a higher end amp so to speak. I am pushing my four 6.5s with 140 cheap dirty watts each and they put out all the volume I want.

Maybe someone can recommend some make/models for him. I am using WDX6 Motos in the batwing and Mmats mids in the lowers, but some folks might find that a tad bright up top. Polk MM652s maybe? 93 db sensitivity but I don't have any experience with how they would sound with that amp. I'm sure someone here has run that combo. Might be a cheap way to get the front end buttoned up. They are $149 a pair from Crutchfield, see them on Ebay for $120 or so.

I’m no expert but believe me after installing the soundigital evo 800x4 in two Bikes I would just pay the 304$ for the amp and not look back. Small footprint and would fit nice in a tour pack with lots of room left.Just save up for it until you have the money since the other 6x9s are not killing you.

Just don't forget the caveat that u should not run most of the SD amps without a DSP, which adds $350ish bucks. No crossover ***** is a deal breaker without a DSP.

what makes you say this? They have a fixed point HPF @ 80hz, which works pretty well.

To each their own brother but I won't run an amp without all the traditional dials / ***** unless I have a DSP.
Working "pretty well" just ain't my thing if I'm dropping 300 clams on a amp.
I guess if u paired the amp w the perfect 80hz speaker it might work pretty well but that just ain't me.

Then you and some more folks might be happy to know that SD has informed me that they will be having a new line out soon with adjustable crossovers in the more conventional design, no date, but coming soon!
