I finally got the bike running good and I'm trying to get the audio side of things situated. I currently have 4 cheap RF 6.5's. I was looking into the the SS P4 amp with two new speakers to start. I have the Aquatic AV head unit currently. Any recommendations for the speaker or a different amp? Thank you for your help.

Bike is a 2000 EG with no tour pack. As for a budget, I don't have a set number, but definitely don't want to break the bank on a 2000. I just want a little more sound out of the entire system and to be able to hear it more clearly going faster. Sorry I am not clear on the budget but its a hard one to pin point with no knowledge of what is good. Thanks.

the SS amp might be difficult to fit your year bike,(very similar to mine, 2004). you might think about the RF TM400x4ad or a Mmats MD4100, both will fit and sound good. Hertz 6.5 coaxial, or Arc Moto 6.5's or maybe polk MM652's. the Arc speakers cost a little more than some others, but they fit , they sound good and are weather treated. the Soundigtal Evo800.4 is also something that will fit and work well.

Speakers are a personal choice. Try to get your ears on some different speakers and go from there.

I currently have the 6.5 RF in the fairings and lowers. I really like the Hertz 6.5 speakers, I have been looking into those lately. The amps you provided are a bit more than I would like to spend. So I guess I do have a budget for that. I would like to keep the amp under 200. Thanks

i do understand the feeling of wanting to keep costs down as I had them also when i first started into this arena. what i found out is that you do get what you pay for, be patient, shop around and don't be afraid to ask questions. there are also a couple of Cerwin Vega amps that are similar and cost less and will fit and work, i just don't know whether it's the B52 or 54 as I've not actually used either. The amp you chose is very important as they are not all created equal, either for power or sound quality.

parallel/bridged it sounds great with the 8ohm Crescendo UN. add a pair of dbdrive tweeters, your weak spot will be the head unit with no real means of doing any tuning

Matter of fact, i have that amp bridged to a pair of 10" in my bags, that amp is solid
