Default DSP question

Im sure this has been asked before but her it goes. Does a bike with an aftermarket stereo need a DSP for the best sound ? I have the Sony XAV-AX100 on my 18 RGS and a Focal FDP Sport amp, speakers are still up in the air i may go pro audio but right now i have DB Drive Moto 6.5 and 6x9's, im thinking about getting the Dayton DSP 408 while im doing upgrades.

Thanks

Depends on ur speakers & the capability of the HU. In ur case, when u define the exact speakers then it will be a bit more clear on how much u need to manage them.

I will most likely go with PRV for 8 or 10” mids in the bags and PRV 6.5” in the fairing.

if you go with 8's or 10's you will definietley want one of the good DSP's. the ARC, DD or RF.

If you stick with the Dbmotos, you'll want a dsp to tame the shrill, headachey, ear bleeding highs.
