Its easy to jump on the PRV bandwagon since its a good speaker but I think it really depends on the rest of the system, goals and budget. They work well but I think there are others just as good or better depending on your needs.
Its not any different than the JL fanboys and their not all watts are equal. They work great I have yet to hear another 6.5
in lowers that hits me in the chest like the PRVs. Yes there may be better ones depending on your budget and set up but
you cant go wrong with PRVs In lowers.
There is speaker that wasnt mentioned that works well in the lowers that doesn't need any grinding with a high SPL. That is pretty dam punchy but needs fo be bandpassed. Which is the Crescendo UN6.5. It is pretty dam budget friendly.
Just make sure u picked up on the grinding / cutting the corners off of them.
That lil tidbit might deter some folks.
Team Beyma.

How much grinding are we talking about? Still haven't puled the trigger on a set for my lowers. Was going to run with Hertz SVs but not afraid to modify a set. Any pics that can be shared? Thanks.
