Those of you that have done this, two questions... Did you use a dremmel or jigsaw to cut the lids? Are there instructions on the quick connect locations. None of the videos show the back end wiring, and I've seen a mix of dremmel and jigsaw cutting.
Jig saw works fine, Use the correct size drill bits though for your pilot holes. Use a thinner scrolling blade with the jig saw and take your time. I think it calls for a 3/4 in hole saw for the grommet. I would just position the hole for the wire towards the front may be a tad bit lower and rearward of the front bag pin hole.

Yes sir 3/4 is the hole size for the wire grommet. Very important to use a thin scrolling blade and take your time.
Jig saw, just installed this kit last weekend. Very simple just make sure you tape the lids up good. And make sure to put your latches back on before you put the grills and speakers in if you've got the one touch latches.
