My stock speakers sounded blown, I installed new Infinity Kappa 62ix. I turn on Drake at my old bass level settings, I cant turn them up past 3/4. I turn the bass all the way down and still cant turn them all the way up. Sounds like I installed 4" speakers. No amp, just the 19 radio. I hope all the Kappa greatness claims weren't due to people filtering out all bass and midbass? Not dont think these are as good as the ones I took out. Save your money...
You need to save your money and buy an amp. What'd you really expect. There's absolutely nothing wrong with those speakers if you put an amp with them. Have setup quite a few and they've all performed well.

Totally agree with Bates here. Get an amp to push them. It can be done on the cheap. Give them 125-150 W and they'll sing. With your 2019, a BT355 line leveler and a micro amp that runs 2 ohms around that wattage will work just fine. With the power of just the head unit, you'll never get sound quality and volume.
And I'll add...if you mounted these on the outside of the pods like the stock speakers, the surrounds are more than likely rubbing against the fairing.
On another note, you shouldn't be turning the volume up ALL THE WAY on any system. I believe that head unit distorts all on its when volume is up with 3 open clicks.

I put these exact speakers in my RGS, I was not impressed until I added an amp and gave them some power. These are great for a budget build. I used the BT355 and a Cerwin-Vega B52. On the Roadglide I don't think there is an option to mount it on the inside of the pod.
