Stupid music question
I have a 2018 SGS with factory HU. When I plug my phone (galaxy 8+) into the port I get nothing but phone charging.
I can bluetooth all day long with the same phone but it will not recognize it when i plug it in except to charge the battery.
What am i doing wrong????

Are you using the media choice USB in the menu?

There is NO choice for media when the phone is plugged in. Like I said it will find it in media if I turn the bluetooth on.
I had the fairing off. Is there something tut that I could have disconnected that allows me to charge the phone but not play media?

Do you get this screen when plugged in?? ..if not then most likely your s8 media settings are turned off somewhere
