Depends where you order from. If you are ordering from Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart then yeah it should've shipped. If you are ordering from a bike shop 3-4 days to ship fairly normal. Some shops aren't even open weekends. I know of a shop that is likely the number one online retailer and with your online receipt they say allow 7 days for an item to ship.
What I normally tell folks is order from a shop that you trust their advice. The 10-20 bucks you save on Amazon or the shipping getting there a few days earlier is NOT worth the extra few bucks you'd spend on a shop you can call and get real world bike advice on the products you purchased. Downside is we live in an instant gratification world are using to having everything now. I'll pay full price and wait a few days to have access to the best guys in their industry. It's worth it.
I intentionally did not mention names. I try to keep my orders to small businesses as a habit. I'm not horribly angry, I just wanted to make sure I did or did not have a proper expectation of time. No hard feelings on my part.

The flip side to that is that I know ALOT of small shops who don't keep many items in stock but will undercut the hell out of everyone in order to make sales and folks then assume they are either a. knowledgeable because they sell stuff or b. always they have items in stock.
One of the companies shipped yesterday. The other, still radio silence. I've emailed with no response and I've called with no answer. Based on time zone, I would assume that someone would be at a well known store at 1030 in the morning. At this rate, I'll have everything but the speakers, and the bike torn down waiting. I'm half tempted to cancel the order and go with a shop I know keeps stock and ships quickly.
